migoto aquaworld was form in around 1997 as a importer and distribution of aquarium products. We are appointed as a distributor for Hikari fish food in Singapore. During that time, the koi market is growing and we are very strong in promoting Hikari koi food to a high level. At the same time we also launch the Hikari tropical series in our Singapore market. The Hikari tropical series has penetrate most of the aquarium shop. During this period, the planted tank is growing and we bring in the Jaqnuo Water plant system from Japan under the Jaleco company. It is growing at a steady rate with the quality of their products. Unfortunately the Jaleco company stop their Jaqno production .After 2 years of handling the Hikari fish food, we stop due to some issue on the sole distribution right.
After this two set back, We decided to switch over to the pet industries as the pet industry is growing and the birds and small animal market lack good products. We bring in a strong brand from Netherland Sluis. The small animal series and the birds series that we bring in is very well receive as the products is superior in quality and average in price. Maqnum brand was created for the small animal and the birds series during this period as a safe guard as it is our own brand that nobody can take it away from us. The ingredient that was formulated for Maqnum was a great products that we still sell. Migoto Aquaworld was change to a Pte Ltd company in the year 2003. The Sluis range was enjoying great sale until the company decided to introduce a new range call The superior menu and stop producing the Sluis range. later the Superior Menu range was change again to Menu range and at a later date it was change again to Nature & Science range. Now the manufacturer have stop the Nature & Science range.
